Talk and Book Signing by Pastor Satcher

Pastor Satcher will give a special lecture and host a book signing for his recently published book, For the Sake of My Holy Name: The Divine Reputation in Ezekiel as a Literary Phenomenon. The event will take place in the Community Room in Robbins Library on May 10th, at 7:00 pm.

“…{T}he primary distinction from previous research is that holiness (as opposed to compassion or power) – along with other diverse meanings and functions – is at the center of concern for the divine reputation.”

Welcome from the pastor

Dear friends! On behalf of the membership of Trinity Baptist Church, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and I bid you a hearty welcome to our website.

I pray that the peace of God and the grace of Lord Jesus be your constant companion. At Trinity, we believe in the authority of God's Holy Word, the priesthood of every believer, and in a loving and merciful God who empowers us to serve the Kingdom of God in our daily living. Moreover, we believe that “God is Good, All the Time” and that “All the time, God is Good.” God’s goodness permeates the air, including the whole environment of the church where we are drawn to worship.

Has God been good to you? We invite you to come and worship with us and enjoy the goodness of the Lord, together as the daughters and sons of the Living God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. We believe that worship is a privilege because of God’s goodness and because of the atoning sacrifice of Jesus. Because of one sacrifice, we who are many have become members of the body of Christ, brothers and sisters in the church universal.

The Rev. Mikel E. Satcher, Ph.D., pastor
